April 23rd begins our week long "Spring" Sale. Foundation Patterns will be on sale at 30% off. Specially marked patterns will be 25% off. All other patterns will be 20% off. All notions will be 20% off. Our selection of Wide Backs will be 20% off, and all fat quarters will be 3 for $5. One yard cuts of fabric, pre cut or off the bolt will be 20% off. Minimum of one yard cuts from the bolt. All Snap Sacks will be 15% off. Mark your calenders.
In honor of Mother's Day, we are holding a "PINK DAY" Sale on Friday, May 11th and Saturday, May 12th. Anyone wearing something pink will receive 15% off their total sale. Buy Mom a $25 gift certificate and get an extra $5.00! We have great gifts for Mom!!
Quilting B's has begun a series of monthly "open" classes.
Second Tuesday of each month is our Yo-Yo making class. Come
in at 11 AM or 1 PM for a quick class on this fun project. Learn how to
make flowers, brooches, table runners or use them to embelish a quilt!
Great way to use up those fabric scraps.
Second Thursday of the month is our crocheted rug class. You've all
admired Susan's colorful and durable crocheted rugs hanging on the
porch - now you can learn how to make your own. Class times are 11 AM,
1 PM or 3 PM. THIS IS NOT A LEARN TO CROCHET CLASS.
Experience is a requirement. Bring a variety of different sized crochet needles - F, G, H,and I, and yarn. You will need at least six skeins of yarn. Please call us with any questions you may have.
Third Monday of each month join us for a Punchneedle Class.
11 AM, 1 PM, or 3 PM come in and learn this easy thread art using a
special needle, a hoop, and pearl cotton you can purchase here at Quilting
B's. Use your finished picture on a pillow, a quilt, or on a trinket box cover, or you can frame your masterpiece and hang it up.
Third Wednesday of each month is our popular curtain class. Bring in
a pencil and notebook for this instructional class and learn how to make the
fishtail curtains that hang in our shop. Bring in the measurement of the
window you would like to cover. You will need to measure the length
and width of each window, the length from your ceiling to the top of your
window frame, and if you want to make the peek- a- boo curtains to match,
bring in the measurement from the window latch to the bottom of the window or to desired length. Class time is at 11 AM, 1 PM, or 3 PM.
We have had several requests for long arm classes, so Jay is ready to go with a class designed just for you! If you are a beginner, or maybe just want to learn how to quilt some new designs, this class will be a big help. Learn all about how to thread, maintain and quilt on our Baby Lock Crown Jewel long arm. Even if you do not own a Baby Lock, this class will help you to keep your machine in tip top shape and teach you how to create new designs on your quilts. Evening and Saturday classes only. MAY - Quilter's Day Out. Buy your tickets here at Quilting B's. Only $25 gets you in to DiVieste's on Wednesday, May 2nd, and includes: a Vendor Mall, lunch, and Darlene McCoy will speak about her pattern designs and display her quilts. Quilting B's will be part of the Vendor Mall. Don't miss out - this is a fun day.
Travelling Tea. Quilting B's and several other Cortland Specialty shops got together to bring you a Travelling Tea. Starting at Just Pizzelles, you will receive a bag that contains your own tea cup, coupons, and a map to the other shops. Stop in and enjoy a different tea and snack at each location while browsing/shopping in the store. A fun way to spend a Saturday. Look for details on exact date and time.
JUNE - Quilter's Flea Market. Rent a space for just $5! Clear out your clutter to make room for the new fabrics and patterns. Bring your own table and set up under the trees in our back yard. I will advertise this in local newspapers and with flyers. Rain date will be set.

Queen For A Day Sale.
AUGUST 4TH - Our Second Annual Civil War Commemoration. This year promises to be bigger and better than last year with added entertainment, speakers, vendors and food. Hope you will join us!
